Terms of service
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This is an English translation. The Polish version is the binding one.
1. General
These terms set out the rules for using the huvee.pl website (the "Site") and the services we provide through it electronicallyNote 1.
The service provider is Bartosz Burdalski, a private individual who runs the Huvee project outside any business activity; place of residence: Wałbrzych; address: ul. Blankowa 31/3, 58-316 Wałbrzych, email: business@huvee.plNote 2. In these terms "we" means the service provider; the collaborators who help with the Site act on the provider's behalf.
A user is anyone who uses the Site. A consumer is a natural person who uses the Site for purposes not directly related to their business or profession.
The service provider runs no business, and consumer protection law binds traders. Even so, we apply it to consumers voluntarily: the right to withdraw from the agreement (section 4), the time limit for replying to complaints (section 6) and the information on out-of-court dispute resolution (section 7)Note 3.
These terms are available free of charge on this page before you start using the services. You can save and print themNote 1.
2. Services
Through the Site we provide two services, both free:
- making the Site's content available: information about the Huvee app;
- the early-access list: an email confirming your signup, with a preview of the Huvee app, and one email with an invitation, sent when the Huvee app is ready to download.
The Site is not a shop and sells nothing. We do not guarantee a launch date for the app. The Huvee app will have its own terms, which we will publish before it becomes available.
3. Technical requirements
To use the Site you needNote 1:
- a device with internet access;
- an up-to-date web browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge, with JavaScript enabled;
- for the early-access list, a working email address.
4. Entering into and ending the agreement
The agreement to make content available is made when you open the Site and ends when you leave it.
You enter into the early-access agreement by entering your email address, ticking the box to agree to receive these emails and submitting the form. We confirm the agreement by email. It ends when the invitation is sent, and no later than 12 months after you sign up.
You can leave at any time, without giving a reason and at no cost: click the "Remove me from the list" link in our email, write to business@huvee.pl from the address on the list, or reply to our emailNote 4. Leaving means withdrawing consent and removing your address from the list.
If you are a consumer, you can also withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of entering into it, without giving a reasonNote 5. An email is enough; the effect is the same as leaving the list.
If we decide not to release the app, we will close the list, delete the addresses and, where possible, let the people on it know.
5. Rules of use
When using the Site you must not provide unlawful contentNote 1. In particular:
- add only your own email address to the list;
- do not sign up automatically (with bots or scripts) or in bulk;
- do not try to disrupt the Site or to access other people's data.
The list is for adults only. We may remove signups that break these rules.
6. Complaints
Send a complaint about the Site or the list to business@huvee.pl, or by post to the address in section 1Note 1. Describe the problem and give an email address for our reply.
We reply by email within 14 days of receiving itNote 6.
7. Resolving disputes
We try to settle disputes amicably, by correspondence. If that fails, they are decided by the common courts.
If you are a consumer, you can use out-of-court ways of handling complaints and pursuing claims, such as free help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or mediation by a regional Trade Inspection office (Inspekcja Handlowa). Information and the list of bodies, in Polish: polubowne.uokik.gov.plNote 7. Taking part is voluntary for both sides. Because the service provider is not a trader, these bodies may decline the case.
The EU's ODR platform closed on 20 July 2025, so we do not refer to itNote 8.
8. Specific risks
Using the internet carries risks we are required to tell you aboutNote 9:
- phishing, messages pretending to be us: we will send the invitation only from an address at huvee.pl, we will never ask for a password or a payment, and the link in it will lead to the official App Store or Google Play;
- malware and attacks over unsecured Wi-Fi networks;
- spam and takeover of your mailbox.
Keep your browser and system up to date, check the sender's address and do not open suspicious attachments. The Site is served over encrypted HTTPS. The cookies and scripts the Site stores on or runs in your device are described in the cookie policyNote 10.
9. Copyright
The texts, graphics, logo and app visuals on the Site are protected by copyrightNote 11. You may use them within the limits of permitted use, for example by sharing a link to the Site. The illustrative photographs come from Unsplash and are used under the Unsplash License. The team photos are our own, published with the consent of the people in themNote 12.
10. Liability
The services are free. We work to keep the Site running correctly, but there may be interruptions, for example during maintenance. The Site describes an app in development, and its features may still change.
We do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow it, in particular for damage caused intentionallyNote 13.
11. Personal data and cookies
How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy, and cookies and similar technologies in the cookie policy.
12. Final provisions
We may change these terms for good reason, such as a change in the law or in the services. We will announce a change on the Site, and email the people on the list, at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept the change, you can leave the list.
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the country where you habitually liveNote 14.
Nothing in these terms limits a consumer's statutory rights; any provision less favourable to the consumer than the statute does not applyNote 15.
These terms apply from 21 October 2026.
