Cookie policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This is an English translation. The Polish version is the binding one.
In short
- Without your consent we set no cookies at all. At most two settings stay in your browser's storage: your choice in the cookie banner and, if you change it, the colour scheme.
- Google Analytics runs only after you click "Accept" or switch analytics on in the settings. Visits without consent are counted on the server, with no script in your browser.
- No advertising cookies and no social media pixels.
- You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, in one click.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Your browser's local storage works in a similar way, and so do scripts that read information from your device, such as screen size, and send it to a server, even if they store nothingNote 1.
The law treats all of these the same way: storing information on your device or reading it requires that you are informed first and give consentNote 2, unless it is needed to display the page or to provide a service you asked for yourselfNote 3. This policy describes the software and data the site places on your deviceNote 4.
2. What runs without consent
Without consent we use only what is necessary:
- huvee-consent (local storage) remembers your choice in the cookie banner, so we do not ask on every visit and your refusal is respectedNote 5. Kept for 12 months, after which we ask again.
- huvee-theme (local storage) is saved only when you click the colour-scheme switch, and remembers the light or dark scheme you pickedNote 6. It stays until you switch again or clear your browser data.
- Server logs and visit statistics are neither stored on your device nor read from it by a script: they are what your browser itself sends every time it opens a page (IP address, page address, browser). See the privacy policy, section 3.
3. What runs only with your consent
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 sets the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies (until your consent expires, 12 months at most) and sends data about your visit to Google. It helps us understand what works on the site and what does not.
What exactly we measure, who receives the data and how long it is kept is in the privacy policy, sections 4, 6 and 7.
4. The full list
| Name | Provider | Type | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| huvee-consent | Huvee | local storage | Remembers your cookie choice | 12 months | Not needed (necessary) |
| huvee-theme | Huvee | local storage | Remembers your colour scheme | Until changed or cleared | Not needed (necessary) |
| _ga | cookie | Recognises the browser in statistics | Until consent expires, max. 12 months | Required | |
| _ga_<ID> | cookie | Keeps the state of the visit in statistics | Until consent expires, max. 12 months | Required |
5. Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as it was givenNote 7: with the button below, or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Once you withdraw, Google Analytics stops sending data and its cookies are deleted straight away, without reloading the page.
6. Browser settings
You can also set the conditions for storing and reading cookies in your browser: block them, delete them or turn on tracking protectionNote 8. Instructions:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari
- Microsoft Edge
- Google's browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics
If you block all browser storage, the cookie banner will appear on every visit, because we cannot remember your choice.
7. Changes
If we add a new tool or a new category, we will update this policy and ask for your consent again.
